The
Albany State University Marching Rams Show Band is touted as one of the best HBCU performing bands in the nation by all who have seen them in action. They march in regional and local parades and always put on a high-stepping show. They have made several appearances in the Honda All-Star Battle of the Bands and at the state Capitol building in Atlanta, Ga.
Under the direction of Dr. Kenneth Trimmins the ASU Marching Rams Show Band is made of students from throughout the country who assemble for the first time during the fall semester. It is at this point that Dr. Trimmins coordinates their marching and playing routines so that they will be ready to perform, not only during football season, but at several functions during the semester.
So be on the alert and listen for the sights and sounds as the Albany State University Marching Rams Show Band takes the field.
